Peanut Butter Health Tips

Peanut butter is delicious, and good for you in reasonable quantities.  However, some peanut butter health tips must be considered.

Peanuts are a good source of protein, as are all nuts and legumes.  Many peanut butters have high sodium; low sodium or no salt added varieties of peanut butter are recommended.  Many peanut butters are processed with oils, adding unnecessary fats.

Many health food stores will have organic and healthier peanut and nut butter options, and many even allow you to grind your own fresh nut butter.

But you don’t have to go to a specialty health food store to get healthy peanut butter.  Just follow our peanut butter health tips and read the labels!
